Announcement of the East Asian Economic Review (EAER)

Dear Sir/Madam

The East Asian Economic Review is an economic journal for the promotion of interdisciplinary research on international economics. Published as a quarterly by the Korea Institute for International Economic Policy, a Korean government-funded economic think-tank, the Journal is global in perspective and covers both theory and empirical research.

In order to reflect East Asia’s diverse economy with a broader perspective, “the Journal of East Asian Economic Integration” has changed its title to “the East Asian Economic Review” starting from June 2016 (Vol. 20, No. 2). The Editorial Board assure you that we will continue to improve its scholastic depth in the wake of the change to the new title.

In an effort to make greater contributions to the academic field, the East Asian Economic Review is expanding its reach to secure broader distribution channels. The EAER is now available online at [www.eaerweb.org]. The Journal is also indexed and abstracted in EconLit, e-JEL, JEL on CD, OCLC WorldCat, ProQuest, Google Scholar, EBSCO, British Library, SSRN, Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Directory of Open Access Scholarly Resource (ROAD), RePEc, Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and registered to Ulrichsweb, ITS MARC, CrossRef, ORCiD, SHERPA/RoMEO and the Korea Citation Index, Think-Asia, Microsoft Academic, Dow Jones Factiva, Dimensions, 1findr, Scilit, Lens and Lexis Advance.

The Journal is now encouraging submissions from across the field of Economics in order to facilitate greater understanding of all issues pertinent to the diverse economies of East Asia, through publication of rigorous analyses by renowned experts in the field. Your attention and support would thus be highly appreciated.

Thank you.

Sincerely,

Chul Chung
